Back to Wales—this time to a small village 15 minutes south of Conwy. Elisabeth was over to join us as well as Jas who had finished at the chicken factory. We stayed in a lovely cottage called Pant Yr Iwrch. Still no idea how to pronounce it!! We were very lucky with the weather and got lots of activities packed into the week, including a walk at Talacre beach on the way there. We spent time in Llandudno and Conwy, including walking the Great Orme. We walked into the village and on to the local butchers to buy a yummy meat pie, walked around Porthmadog after a stunning ride through Snowdonia, stopping at Dolbadarn Castle and Beddgelert as well as enjoying spectacular views of Snowdon from Llyn Gwynant. We went to the Swallow falls near Betws-y-Coed and had a lovely walk through the forest park. Topped off with lots of fish and chips, Indian and Sunday Roasts. What a great week.
