Northumberland 2022

We stayed in the lovely Preston Tower near Alnwick. Apart from the night when the smoke alarm kept going off, it was perfect. We had a lovely week of walks, mostly on the coast. We went from Craster to the far end of Embleton Beach, From Bamburgh to Seahouses, the coast walk round Linisfarne, from Creswell to Druridge Bay Country Park and from Amble to Alnmouth. We also enjoyed time in Alnwick. On one day we had to travel back to Leeds for Helen’s funeral, which was a sad day, but glad we went. How can we forget the massive ice cream from Spurreli’s in Amble!!
