Another October trip to Tunisia to have a look at the North of the Country. Rita made the trip with us this time. The weather wasn’t kind to us. It was cold at times and there was some torrential rain—especially when we were due to leave when they had to close the airport for a while because of the rain. Memories of an unpleasant few hours in Enfidha airport. We managed a few trips out. Mum came with us to Carthage and Sidi Bou Said. She didn’t fancy the long journey to the ruins at Dougga. That was a shame because they were spectacular.
The photos from the top show Kathryn enjoying a coffee in Sidi Bou Said and some pictures of the ruins at Dougga. Below that there is a view of the sea from Carthage and some stunning views of the ruins at Dougga, notably the Capitol and the Amphitheatre. Towards the bottom there is a photo of Rita on Bysra Hill in Carthage, some photos of the ruins in Carthage, some market wares and Kathryn and Damien on the Roman communal toilet.
