Egypt 2013

It turns out that the Gambia wasn’t our last holiday without children. In August 2013 Kathryn and I went on a holiday to celebrate Kathryn’s retirement. With the blessing for the children we had a lovely holiday back at the Sonesta Beach. It was a lot hotter than our usual Easter visits to the Red Sea. Had to spend even more time in the sea snorkelling. Especially after one of the kids at the hotel left a floater in the pool and it had to be closed! Fortunately we were on all inclusive for the first time here as there was a curfew at night and we weren’t allowed out of the hotel in the dark. A real shame that we didn’t get to go to any of the restaurants in Naama Bay
