Although it was only 5 days, we certainly enjoyed as many of the sights as possible. This was part one of Kathryn’s 40th birthday celebrations. There were two place on her bucket list that she really prioritised and this was one of them. We stayed in the “New Yorker” hotel which was handy for an early breakfast on the last day as it was opposite McDonalds!
The photos at the top show the Empire State Building which we went up (unfortunately it was a bit foggy that day), Times Square at the Hard Rock Café and Grand Central Station. Below that is the Charging Bull in the finance district, a photo of the Statue of Liberty from the Staten Island Ferry and a photo of Kathryn on Wall St. Other photos below show Brooklyn Bridge which we crossed on foot, our hotel, the WTC Sphere, Central Park, the top of the Empire State, Times Square at night and the Natural History Museum. We managed to get to a Comedy show on Broadway as well as visit Ground Zero.
Not to be forgotten—the signing cowboy in his stars and stripes underpants and Kathryn’s photo with the Charging Bull!
