Not a lot to say here really as all the photos speak for themselves. Our trip to Kenya was cancelled the first time around due to troubles, but we finally made it for a few weeks in 2004.
Our safari took us to several parks in Kenya - Amboseli, Tsavo West and Taita Hills. We shared a van with four others and Abdul, our guide (with help from "shem shem"). We stayed in really luxurious lodges, which was great - even bagging a honeymoon villa after saying it was our anniversary!
Photos from the top show men excited about lighting a fire (it's a man thing) when we went to the Masai village, lots of animals - you can just make out a rhino top left next to the elephants, hippos behind the two of us by the river and a pretty hazy picture of a lion. The weather was great, though it did take us a couple of days to remove all the dust from our clothing and bags!
We did eventually get clean, finishing the trip in Mombasa by the beach. There are a couple of photos of us going for a sail in a rickety old dhow as well as a romantic pose on our balcony - what would we do without the timer function on our camera? An utterly amazing trip - well worth the wait!
