Went to Zanzibar for a month after I finished up in Germany. The main reason for the visit was Pippa’s wedding out there to Rob. It was also a good opportunity to visit friends from before and see some of the wonderful sights again.
The photos show a sunset on the coast, one of the red colobus monkeys at Jozani forest and at Pippa’s as she got ready for the wedding. I was able to be present with the women and the men as I was videoing the whole event. Below that there is me in Rob’s Landover, the boat repairers on the East Coast and Christina outside Pippa’s house. Then we have me going for a dive, the arrival of Rob for the wedding and friends on Pemba. Then we have the actual wedding ceremony, Pippa having henna applied and more friends on Pemba. Finally there is champagne for breakfast (what a hassle getting that through customs in Dar es Salaam airport before getting the ferry to Zanzibar), me in Pippa’s garden and Pippa setting off for work.
