After some exciting travels it was time to hang up the rucksack for a while. I went back to Germany to set up my own business. By now Germany was reunified. I moved into Wiesenbornstrasse 35 in Meerholz and got in touch with some people, got some stationary and business cards made and I was ready. I spent most days translating in the morning and teaching in the afternoon. I got teaching jobs at the Euroschule in Aschaffenburg and the Berufliche Schulen as well as plenty of private clients. As you can see from the pictures, work on the house with Walter continued whenever I was free. Now I had a car rather than a mofa. Acting for Fun continued. Elisabeth joined and we put on “Juno and the Paycock” and “Live like Pigs”. Both mum and dad came out to visit, as did Pippa, followed by a visit from mark and Simon for a beer festival! The second row has photos of some of the other English teachers in Aschaffenburg and me office in Meerholz. There is also a photo of my classroom in Aschaffenburg and a photo of some of my students from the IHK class I set up on a night out. Below that are some photos of Asschaffenburg itself.
